Clavius Factory Repair Process Booking

 

Please follow these steps when booking a repair:-

  1. Carefully write a list of ALL of the issues with each lens you are sending back for service/repair. Save this list and print it out (and keep it safe as a document file)

  2. Photograph all of the lenses in good light showing the issues if they are visible. If required please shoot a video on your smartphone. - We may ask for these after your request is received.

  3. Tightly wrap each lens individually in at least 50mm (2inch) of layered bubble wrap and tape in place.

  4. Pack lenses tightly in a good quality box that fits. Try to keep the box as small as possible so the lenses cannot move around in transit and knock each other. Fill any empty voids with more bubble wrap (four lenses wrapped in lots of bubble wrap should fit in a 12” cubed box). Put the printed list of issues/problems into the box and tape the box up well.

  5. Fill in the Form Below - We need all of this information in order to get UPS shipping quotes to get your lenses back here for repair.

    We will email you back within a couple of days with a shipping quote and an estimate of the costs for parts and labour to bring your lenses back to good health. Be as detailed as possible but we can get a lot more technical once your request arrives and we email you back with shipping quotes before we go ahead.
