Pre order deposit for the upcoming Clavius 118/2 lens. Full price to be calculated but please expect around ¼ of the price of a full set of lenses. The full price will be dependent on expected demand. If you decide to cancel when exact pricing is known we will issue a full refund of your deposit.

Production glass run about to commence. Delivery of competed lenses expected March-April 2025. Once we’ve built a batch of the new lens cells we’ll be in touch to ask for serial numbers and photos of your existing lenses so we can be sure to get an exact optical match for your existing lenses.

Note: Lens front increase to 110mm, with a 105mm filter thread. This is to accommodate the enormous 98mm diameter front element. The Clavius 118/2 shares the same design criterion as the four other focal lengths meaning the desirable characteristics and performance of the 58mm/2 optical block is preserved. The result is another unorthodox lens that covers LF format with a true f2.0 aperture and with the ability to interchange apertures for bokeh shaping and/or colour shift as with the original Clavius lenses.

This lens will be made only available to current owners of our Clavius lenses. When our assemply program is due to start our Clavius Lens Set production will be temporarily haulted until all 118mm/2 lenses are supplied to pre-order customers.
