This retrofit 95mm clamp adapter allows users to quickly and securely fit Century’s 0.8x adapter to the CLAVIUS 28mm lens for a 20% fov increase (approximately 21mm focal length). This solution provides full frame coverage and great optical performance and no perceivable light loss and minimal distortion, for situations when you absolutely need that extra field of view.

Originally designed for use with high performance 22x Fujinon/Canon Zoom lenses, the double-aspherical optics utilised in the WA-8XIF-20 are more than capable of delivering great results with the 28MM CLAVIUS LENS. The size and weight starts to get a little large but the 20% fov advantage will certainly come in handy for those tight spaces. The adapter also functions with the Clavius 38mm, delivering a 30mm focal length that intercuts well with the Clavius 28 in situations where two wide angle lenses are required. The adapter may also work with other lenses with 95mm clamp diameter however you’ll have to determine this yourself.
